FAST BREATHING – Doctor Willie Ong cited the reasons behind it and shared some tips on what to do in case you are experiencing it.

A lot of people have breathing problems. This health condition can affect young, adult, and old individuals but it is more common among people who are in their senior years already. To some, it is an effect of other health conditions or their lifestyle when they were young.

Undeniably, breathing problems or specifically fast breathing is a very disturbing condition. It can hamper your concentration on something and can limit the tasks that you can do. Strenuous activities are a no-no when it comes to people experiencing it.

Recently, through a video posted on YouTube, Dr. Willie Ong explained about fast breathing. He cited the reasons behind it and gave some tips on what you can do about it in case you are having some breathing difficulties.

According to Doc Willie, here is a list of the eight(8) usual reasons why a person is breathing fast. It may be due to:

  • exercise (According to Doc Willie, it is normal to breath rapidly after exercising as the muscle requires oxygen after using it.)
  • nervousness or anxiety
  • other health conditions like asthma, fever, lung infection, and heart disease
  • overweight
  • not exercising
  • the weather condition
  • aging
  • air pollution

What can you do if you are experiencing fast breathing? Dr. Willie Ong got these health tips:

  • Avoid drinking coffee or energy drinks
  • Avoid stress
  • Find a place that has a cold weather and fresh air
