Noninflammatory is the clogged pores that appear as whiteheads and blackheads. While the inflammatory types are the papules and pustules which can lead to more severe ones such as nodules and cysts. Oftentimes, excess oil is a known contributor to a breakout.

Here are some things you can do to improve and treat your acne:

  • Dermatologist – This is yet the safest and most effective thing you can do so as not to worsen your condition. A dermatologist surely knows what to do with your acne and how to lose them.
  • Tee Tree Oil – It has antiseptic properties which can prevent buildup of bacteria and germs.
  • Hygiene – Be sure to clean your brushes regularly. Use lukewarm water and gentle soap for cleaning. Same goes with your sheets and pillowcases – wash them!
  • Avoid stress – Stress alone is not good for your health and emotional welfare. Apart from that, it destroys skin cells leading to oiliness, hence, the breakout.
  • Remove makeup – Before going to bed, clean your face. Use a gentle product in removing your makeup. Also, clean up your face after exercising.
  • New products – Do not use various products every week. Too much use of numerous products on your face may make it more sensitive and irritated. Be patient because most products take months before the results shows as per Advanced Derm Specialist article.
