Nutrition and regular exercise are the core factors for good health. Women should enjoy a variety of healthful foods such as whole grains, fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, low-fat or fat-free dairy, and lean protein.

However, a women needs certain nutrients that are vital and needed during each stage of her life. Women undergo childhood and early teen years where they would need a diet abundant in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy products, and lean sources of protein. 

Until they began having their period where they would need more iron to which the best sources are beef, turkey, chicken, halibut, tuna, beans, lentils, and many others. They also have extra needs most especially during their pregnancy.
