Recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared monkeypox a global health emergency. This disease is already endemic in several nations for several years now but a lot of countries where it is not endemic recorded cases of the disease.

This disease is endemic in several countries in Africa. Recently, countries such as the United States, Brazil, India, Spain, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, and United Kingdom.
