LOW BLOOD PRESSURE (Hypotension) – Tips For People w/ This Condition

How to treat low blood pressure?

LOW BLOOD PRESSURE – Doctor Willie Ong shares to us some natural tips and remedies to treat and improve blood pressure if you have hypotension.

If you have blood pressure of under 90/60 mm Hg, then you have hypotension. Some symptoms of this condition include blurred vision, rapid or shallow breathing, nausea and thirst, cold/clammy pale skin, fatigue, lack of concentration, dizziness, palpitations, and depressions. Some causes are lack of nutrition, lack of physical activity, allergy, severe bleeding, low blood sugar, hypothyroid, and among others.

Low Blood Pressure

Hypotension, according to Healthline, is identified in several classifications:

  • Orthostatic – this is the drop of BP from sudden and quick sitting down or standing up which is common in all ages.
  • Postprandial – this occurs when you finish eating.
  • Neurally mediated – this happens after standing for a long time.
  • Severe – this is related to shock where organs start to not function properly due to lack of blood and oxygen.

Here are some tips from Doc Willie Ong and Doc Liza Ong as to how you can increase and improve your blood pressure if you’re suffering from hypotension:

  • Eat more food with salt content and drink more water.
  • Avoid alcoholic drinks.
  • Do cross legs to contract nerves.
  • Small portions of meals.
  • Wear medical compression stockings.
  • Sudden movement such as standing and sitting.
  • Avoid lifting heavy objects.
  • Don’t expose yourself in too hot showers.

When to see a doctor for consultation? If you have indications of shock, consistent low blood pressure readings but still feeling fine, or among other cases as this condition, at one point, is also life-threatening.
