It is no secret to the public that lemon is one of the healthiest fruits we can ever have. To enjoy its benefits daily, some people put on their drinking water.

However, undeniably, not everyone is used to drinking lemon water. There is really that different taste – but the benefits might change your mind in case you are one of them.

In a video, Dr. Willie and Dr. Liza Ong discussed the lemon water benefits for the body. They also shared the procedure on how to prepare it.

If there is no lemon or it is expensive to buy on a daily basis, calamansi can be its substitute. According to Doc Willie and Doc Liza, six (6) calamansi are equivalent to one (1) lemon.

There are two (2) preparations to choose from – the strong preparation of lemon water and the medium preparation. Based on the video, the former requires 1 to 1 1/2 lemon while the latter needs only 1/2 lemon.

  • Add the lemon to one (1) glass of water.
  • Add some sugar if you are not on a diet.
  • Take the lemon water as your drink. It is only good for two (2) days storage.
