Many people who are suffering from kidney damage found out about their situation when it was harder to treat because they did not notice the signs. There are warning signs that appear when something is wrong with the way your kidney functions.

Here are the warning signs you must be aware of according to Doc Willie Ong:

  • Swelling – Any signs of swelling such as puffing in the face or you have observed that the ring on your finger felt tight must be checked up by an expert so as not to avoid further damage.
  • Changes in urination – One bad sign that the kidneys are not in condition is changes in urination where liquid waste products becomes so little when coming out, the color, bubbles in the liquid, or even the pain whenever you urinate is already not a good sign.
  • Rashes – A possible sign that the kidney is not in a good condition is the rashes. And if the kidney is not working well, one way of getting away of toxin is through the skin.
  • Taste – If you have a kidney problem, your taste turns metallic and there’s an unwanted smell coming out from your mouth.
  • Back Pain – If there is pain after a “Kidney Punch”, there must be something wrong with your kidney which probably shows sign of kidney stones, Urinary tract infection, among others.

What to do to avoid these damages?

  • Take a urine test or urinalysis, for creatinine, CBC (Complete Blood Count), and blood sugar.
  • Maintain and control blood pressure of 120 / 80.
  • Avoid salty foods.
  • Drink a lot of water for UTI.
  • Reduce intake of pain relievers.
