DEEP BREATHING – Doctors Willie Ong and Leni Fernandez gave a guide on how to do it right and as well as the right coughing for those with lung problems.

In the Philippines, among the diseases that affect a lot of people are the lung problems. Many are suffering from it which often start with consistent cough that never heals for months.

Deep Breathing Exercise:

  • Lay your palm flat in your chest
  • Put your other palm in your abdomen
  • Take a deep breath
  • Loosen the pressure in your chest
  • Breathe out while pushing in your hand in the abdomen

Right Coughing:

With regards to the right way of coughing as to Dr. Willie Ong and Dr. Leni Fernandez, let someone tap your back gently starting at the lower portion of your back going up. Inhale and then as you exhale, cough a little but in multiple and successive times or three (3) to four (4) times. Based on the video, do the tapping for about three (3) to five (5) minutes.
