DOC WILLIE ONG – Stress seems to be very hard to avoid so here are some tips from Dr. Willie Ong on how to relieve yourself from it.

Nowadays, a huge part of the populace are dealing with stress. It can be stress from financial problems, from school, from work, from relationships, or from the environment. There are just a lot of factors making it hard for a person to avoid stress on a daily basis.

However, despite it being common among many people, stress should not be taken for granted or tolerated. It can lead to other worse health conditions. According to Dr. Willie Ong, it can result to diabetes and there are those who experience heart attack because of it.

In a video posted on YouTube, Doc Willie Ong discussed about stress and cited ways on how to relieve yourself from it. According to him, there are two(2) types of personalities and their stress level.

Doc Willie cited that Type A Personalities are those who are highly competitive, workaholic, and ambitious. They can be prone to stress. On the other side, Type B Personalities are passive and they are less disturbed by stress.

According to the doctor, our brains are releasing hormones which prompts the adrenal gland to make cortisol, the stress hormones that are not good for the body. Also, the adrenaline in the body is increasing and it can cause high blood pressure by increasing the heart beat rate. He also noted that cortisol can cause diabetes.

To relieve stress, Doc Willie Ong said that eating bananas, peanuts, vegetables, and fishes can really help a lot. Here are what they can do for the body:

  • Banana – It contains tryptophan which can help relax the body.
  • Peanuts – It contains Omega 3 fatty acids and is very healthy for the body.
  • Vegetables – Veggies such as carrots and broccoli are high in Vitamin B which is anti-stress.
  • Fishes – Fishes are high in Omega 3 fatty acids too.

  1. Have some body massage
  2. Do exercise
  3. De-clutter
  4. Eat healthy food
  5. Take Vitamins
  6. Consider aromatherapy
  7. Sleep well
  8. Read books
  9. Go outside
