Doc Willie Ong Warns To Avoid “Germ Hot Spots” Amid Increasing Cases of Coronavirus

DOC WILLIE ONG – Doctor Willie Ong cited the “Germ Hot Spots” amid the increasing cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus in the Philippines.

Currently, the Philippines is on a fight against the 2019 novel coronavirus or the COVID-19. For several weeks, the country had no confirmed cases until last week.

Last March 6, 2020. the Department of Health (DOH) announced two (2) new cases of coronavirus in the country. The said 4th and 5th patients of the disease that held China under an outbreak are both Filipinos.

A day after it, the DOH confirmed that the wife of the 5th coronavirus patient in the Philippines tested positive for the disease. He is a case of local transmission as to the health department.

On Sunday, the DOH reported four (4) more confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country. The total number of coronavirus patients now is 10.

Amid the increasing cases of coronavirus in the Philippines, Doc Willie Ong cited the “Germ Hot Spots” we must avoid to prevent infection. In a video, the doctor expressed that bacteria are usually in the following:

  • public places (shopping mall, workplace, school)
  • money
  • table
  • cellphone
  • remote
  • escalator rails
  • wallet
  • bags
  • comfort rooms

According to Doc Willie, it is best to wear a mask and to put some alcohol from time to time. Based on the video, here are the other tips from Doc Willie Ong on how to prevent coronavirus infection:

  1. Sick people must stay at home.
  2. Avoid contact with sick individuals.
  3. Only (1) person should take care of the sick.
  4. Have enough rest, sleep, and healthy food for the body.
  5. Take a bath.
  6. Be careful on high-touch surfaces.
  7. Eat healthy fruits.
  8. Take Vitamin C up to 500 mg.
  9. Wash your hands frequently.
