In a recent social media post on the Facebook page of Dr. Willie Ong, the doctor reacted to the claim that banana is the cure for coronavirus. He stressed that it is a healthy fruit but it is not used to directly treat coronavirus infection.

According to Doc Willie, banana is a healthy fruit but it is not a cure for coronavirus. Like the other healthy fruits and vegetables, it is a healthy food and can help boost the immune system to prevent COVID-19 infection.

Based on the post, it is not also good to eat too much bananas. Doc Willie advised that the best amount of bananas to eat daily is two pieces of the fruit. However, there are restrictions.

The doctor said that people with kidney problem must not eat too much of the fruit. The same thing applies to all those who have high creatinine levels as it might harm their health.
