Genus Fragaria or strawberry is an edible fruit and is commonly eaten fresh as a dessert. The other terms that you may call this fruit include “queen of berries”, “rose-red”, “fragaria”, “deep rose”, “the perfect berry”, and “carmine”.

We typically see strawberries as red cone-shaped fruits that have seeds embedded on their surface. Commercially, they are produced for immediate consumption or to create new products through some processes like frozen, canned, or preserved.
