Weight Loss: Effective Strategy Is Working Out 300 Minutes A Week

As per studies, one effective weight loss tip is to exercise for 300 minutes in a week.

WEIGHT LOSS – A new study has found that as much as burning at least 3,000 calories a week can ultimately help in losing weight.

We all know that part of living clean and healthy is eating the right choices of foods and be physically active. Always take note of this saying from Hippocrates: ‘Let thy food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food’.

Generally, if you’ve been seeing your food as medicine, it helps you make good decisions for your own wellbeing. Along with this is to be active physically. These two things come hand in hand to make us maintain healthy weight.

Now, if you are overweight, a new study has proven that working out is indeed helping in losing weight. However, what you will have to do is to burn at least 3,000 calories a week or exercising for 300 minutes within a week.

As much as we are all aware of, when a person exercises, they would tend to eat a lot to compensate the energy they lost which results to not losing as much weight as they expect. Now, in an experiment and study published in November in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, it has been found out that a group which exercised the most losing as much as a total of 3,000 calories in a week shed much pounds compared to the ones that only lost 1,500 calories in a week.

This is because a compensatory threshold of about 1,000 calories is found which only results to a loss of 500 calories in a week. This only proves that the more calories you burn, the higher the chances of losing weight will there be.

In a span of 12 weeks, the group who exercised the most dropped about 4 pounds of body fat. Generally, this study just tells us that the more we move, the better.
